Rebecca Meece Keeney
Rebecca Meece Keeney, 83 years of age, of Sagasser Street in Somerset, Kentucky died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at Somerset Nursing and Rehab Center in Somerset, Kentucky. She was born April 14, 1923 in Kentucky, she was a daughter to the late James W. and Lucinda Meece. She was a homemaker and a member of the Freedom Christian Church. Rebecca was survived by her husband; PFC Clarence V. Keeney, two daughters Doris (Jerry) Sebert, Hominy, Okla., and Janice (Finley) Johnson , Science Hill, Ky.; two brothers, Charles (Carolyn) Meece, Knoxville, Tenn., and Buddy (Janis) Meece, Indiana; four sisters, Zona Meece, Somerset, Mary Mitchell, Ohio, Viola Bullock, Science Hill, and Betty Harris, Somerset; Dana Woodson same as a family member. Five grandchildren, Jeannie (Andrew) Miller, Bixby, Okla., Donna (Bill) Davis, Olney, Texas, John Sebert, Stillwater, Okla, Sarah (Michael) Wallace Ferguson, and Samuel Johnson, Science Hill; and three great grandchildren, Caleb Miller and Morgan, and Allie Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Leonard and J.C. Meece; two sisters Odetta Bibee and Velma Meece and two infant daughters Rebecca Jolene Keeney and Anita June Keeney. Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2006 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Estes and Bro. Jason Rexroat officiating.
