According to an internal memo quoted in the LA Times, "46% of the children of Wal-Mart employees either are on Medicaid or are uninsured."

Considering how many people Wal-Mart employs (about 2 million) and the number of children depending on these employees (as a rough guess, 2.5 million), just imagine the billions of dollars in taxes that are paying to subsidize Wal-Mart's "low low prices".
